Autumnshroud

A little bit of this, a little bit of that, a litle bit of Bat. All things weird and wonderful, spooky and silly, creepy and cranky--just like me. I'm sarcastic, jaded, sardonic, bitter, cynical and misanthropic--but still fun at parties! The geeky, gothy, nerdy Bat Queen with the mad AMV editing skillz.

I have a twisted sense of humour and love to laugh most of all, albeit at things I probably shouldn't find funny.

Have you ever loved a fictional character so much that whenever you see a picture of them your heart tingles and your vocal cords produce this awkward screeching noise that sounds a bit like a dying cat.

It happens when I see Alistair all the time.

Hey guys…I’ve been working really hard to add to my SPN page, Brethren Before Wenches.  Hope you drop on by and check it out during the long, horrible Hellatus.  ;)

Hey guys!  I decided to organise my fangirling, so I’ve started a separate blog just for my fawning over Supernatural.  I’ll be funneling all SPN-related stuffs over there-like.  Please feel free to follow if you likies.  =D

So we just finished watching season 1 of Supernatural with two of our best friends tonight.  They loved it (of course), and Laura (the girl-half of the couple) is a fangirl of many other fandoms of longstanding, so she’s used to this sort of thing.  Conveniently, it turns out she’s a Sam girl, so she and I will balance out nicely.  Now I have somebody to squee about the show with IRL.  So exciting!

I had a hunch when I was there, but it has just been confirmed, the church across the street from the hotel where VanCon was held IS THE SAME ONE WHERE 2.13 ‘Houses of The Holy’ WAS SHOT! ASDJASDK! There was a freaking supernatural landmark right next to where we all were!!!

Here are screen caps…

Holy crap! I thought so too and told my friend I thought so… but then I talked myself out of it and never looked up screencaps to verify.

Thank you for doing that. You totally made me feel like I’m an obsessed stalker perceptive. >.> <.<

Yeah, every time I went out for a smoke break, I made sure to tell people that that was the church.  A surprising amount of them already knew—you crazy fandom people, you.

That’s the fun thing about living here in Vancouver—playing “spot the location” when watching episodes.  ”Devil’s Trap” was filmed in the apartment building one over from ours, so it’s really weird to watch that episode.  Every time I walk home and pass by there, I picture it with fire trucks and demons outside.  =P

At Jensen’s suggestion, I’m going to be releasing a new edit of this with him killing the big inflatable duck from VanCon this past weekend.

Because really, when Jensen suggests I change my video, who am I to argue?  =D

Okay, here’s the video I’ve been working my butt off all week to complete.  I got hit by a flash of inspiration last Friday as I was on my way to drop my duck off at the SPN shoot near my friend’s apartment.  This vid had to be done.

This may be my magnum opus.

Sam and Dean don’t change facial expressions.

Just because it’s time to post these again.  I wish there was a way to put .gifs on something physical—I’d love to be able to give these to the boys at the con.

Then again, it might just weird them the fuck out.

I seriously spend way too much time photoshopping some days.

My husband is truly awesome.  He’s also a huge geek and nerd like me—we’re both huge anime fans, and we both edit amv’s (anime music videos).  So he understands fandom, which is why he is so wonderfully tolerant of my SPN fangirling.  It also helps that he’s a huge fan of the show (we’re both “Deaners”, so we can gush together.  We kind of make people sick).

I had found the amusingly photoshopped Wincest pic of the boys in bed.  One night, after a few (too many, probably) drinks, I waited until James (hubby) went to use the bathroom.  I bolted over to his computer and changed his desktop wallpaper to the Wincest pic and waited for him to notice, which wasn’t too difficult as I was on the couch giggling like a loon.  He thought it was funny, bless his heart; but before he could change it, I took a pic of his computer with it up there (first pic).  I then changed *my* desktop wallpaper to the image of his computer with the wallpaper on.

As we had both been drinking, he got the brilliant idea to take a picture of *my* computer with the desktop wallpaper of the picture of *his* computer with the desktop wallpaper………and it just kind of spiralled into total silliness from there.

Did I mention I love my husband to bits and he’s just about the awesomest guy on the planet?  =D

PS…the original pic is on the bottom, for your enjoyment.
